Over the course of the pandemic CLS has been able to elevate the individual skills of our participants through the various skills training sessions offered to our young players.
The purpose of the "Fall Team Prep" camps is to give direction and help integrate those skills into a team construct. As of right now, the fall CMBA season will be running, these camps will be a primer for that season and for players that are entering High school and wish to be prepared for tryouts.
Daily activities: The camp is split into 3 stations (see below). Toward the end of the camp, depending on the level of understanding we may emphasize the “GAMEPLAY” section if it is deemed advantageous for the players.
TEAM SKILLS (OUTDOORS):
Series of team building and group conditioning exercise
TEAM IQ WORK:(CURLING RINK)
learning offenses, team skills, and strategies.
GAMEPLAY:(MAIN GYM)
camp members separated into teams for game play.
